I felt sorry for the guy clearly on an errand for the missus, seemed to understand the situation but struggled to communicate it across to his partner.

Starting to get more and more people with either an email, text or screenshot of the app or the email, trying to use that to collect a Too Good To Go bag. You have to use the app - you need to swipe to collect. We need to see the wonderful word in green "collected" next to your collection code.

After a bit of back-and-forth customer clocks he needs his partner to swipe the app at home in order to be able to collect the bag. Until that collection is swiped, the company doesn't get paid and the user will automatically get refunded, so nothing getting handed over. (On a side note, if you don't have the app on your person your collection might be refused, not everyone allows remote swipes).

Simple... but having got his partner to swipe on the Too Good To Go app, on the counter with a queue building behind him, the guy opens up the bag (I ensure the bags are taped or stapled shut to discourage against the following), and proceeds to get each item out (thankfully only 4 in total) and takes photos to send back for approval. Lighting is bad so photos have to be retaken with items completely out of the bags, placed on top of the bags on the counter. I kid you not!

Feedback... the misses isn't happy with what is on offer today. A lack of sandwiches... they obviously needed the Surprise Bag (we had none that day) and not the Sweet & Pastry bag, which rather self-explanatory isn't going to contain sandwiches or anything chilled.

At first they want to exchange the items for another. She doesn't like it. Swap the bags, despite touching every item. I have to explain how mystery boxes and surprise bags work, and advise him it is whatever we have left at the end of the day and is selected at random.

He seems to understand this but knows his partner won't accept it and attempts to sweet talk her into understanding.

Refund? The next stage - remember a queue is building behind here - he wants to return the bag for a refund. This guy has literally in full view handled the pastries and taken photos of it. There are no refunds other than through the app.

By which point people in the queue have got impatient and barged in to be served, perhaps he will leave with the Too Good To Go bag? Served 3 customers, the guy is still on the phone and passes phone over for me to explain to her. In the end, they claim they have received a refund through the app (didn't seem to be the case this end) and the guy left the Too Good To Go bag behind which immediately went in the bin!

What was interesting was the guy was on a call with a "my beautiful sexy ...". I am not sure if it is simping or a wife, just very curious if there was more to the contact name... was it a name following, another word like "gorgeous" or pet name? I will never know lol Neither will you haha
