Swiping Too Good To Go once told uncollected bags are no longer available
Social Commentary Too Good To GoGirl tried to collect Too Good To Go bag after the unit has closed. She tried to create convo through the half-down shutter. After being advised that the store is now closed and uncollected bags have been wasted, decided to swipe on the app to force the issue. It is complete stupidity to swipe after being told all uncollected Too Good To Go Surprise Bags have been binned.
She tried to create conversation through the half-down shutter. After being advised that the store is now closed and uncollected bags have been wasted, after 5 minutes she decided to swipe on the app to force the issue.
On a side note, Too Good To Go sometimes allows users to collect after collection time is finished as long as they had an active reservation beforehand. Whether this is a bug, a user adjusting their phone time or a feature, is unknown. This shouldn't be possible, I was amazed that she was able to do this.
After staking out the premises for 25 minutes to little success, she eventually got the message and stormed off muttering "f**king joke". Yes, you had a reservation which you ordered agreeing to the collection times, arrived late after we closed (which is long after the collection time ends), were told that uncollected bags have been binned, yet still decided to swipe thinking the bag would magically appear as we'd be obliged to provide something. It is this point you won't get an automatic refund as Too Good To Go thinks you collected it.
The app warns the users to wait until they are at the counter before swiping, not only were we closed but the shutter was half down to signify this. It is complete stupidity to swipe after being told all uncollected Too Good To Go Surprise Bags have been binned. To then have a tantrum in public because you didn't get your way is of absolute embarrassment. Sometimes you have to take the L and admit you could have done things better... and it isn't simply an age thing, Karens do this ALL the time, thinking turning it up to 11 is going to get them their own way.
