I just served a couple their coffees who were absolutely dumbfounded to witness an old guy rob a bacon roll from the fridge. 'Did he just take.. ?'

I think they probably caught up with him later and asked about it, as half an hour or so later the confused guy who supposedly took the bacon roll returned it with an apology. By which point observing the packaging to find it open and not resalable meant it had to be wasted.

The roll was intact, whether he had some of the bacon is unknown. I spoke with the man who seemed alright, not in distress, was just a little confused at the time.
