Understanding Too Good To Go
Too Good To GoYou order (reserve) a Too Good To Go Surprise Bag from £3.99. You collect within the advertised collection times. Don't assume you will be the only person in the queue. There is no priority line for Too Good To Go. When you are next-in-line, ensure you have the app open. Do NOT Swipe in advance. You don't get to choose or negotiate contents of the bag.
You collect within the advertised collection times. You cannot collect earlier - wait. Don't approach the staff member to tell them you have a bag to collect and try humouring them about being a little early or "too keen" - gets old quickly after the third time you've heard it.
Don't assume you will be the only person in the queue, so allow time.
Collection takes around 5 minutes (some much quicker but that is not the norm). A 30 second collection? You got lucky, don't assume it will be the same next time.
There is no priority line for Too Good To Go.
You queue up like everybody else. Nobody working is going to care if you have a bus/coach/train to catch or a taxi/uber/lift waiting. If you don't have time, you don't have time, sorry.
When you are next-in-line, ensure you have the app open... do not swipe yet. Email confirmation isn't suitable. You need to open the app.
You don't get to choose or negotiate contents of the bag.
You must be aware that items are likely to be against your allergies, lifestyle choice or preferences. This is the downside with mystery boxes and surprise bags. You are literally a collection code, bag type and quantity of items on a screen - we cannot see your name or know your allergies or preferences.
If you miss the collection time you will not be able to collect.
Some stores will set it to their closing time and others will end collection time 30-60 minutes before closing. Don't assume an open store means you can collect. If you leave it last minute to collect you might miss out.
If you do not collect you will get refunded (few days). You can cancel if you change your mind.
