It is interesting to see people trying to put round straws through the narrower rectangular drink holes of the strawless lids.

The lids - called strawless for a reason - aren't designed to have straws, and despite being thin straws they don't fit.

You can pinch an end of the straw to make this work but not everybody can work it out.
