Customer read sign saying no coffee
General ObservationsCustomer read sign saying no coffee (coffee machine broke) had a conversation with someone else in the queue about it. Still ordered a latte.
This customer spotted the sign saying "no coffee" due to coffee machine breakdown. He created conversation with someone else in the queue for several minutes about there being no coffee, then when it was his turn, still asked for a latte...
I suppose we could do a hot milk with no coffee as one machine steam wand was working just not pulling espresso shots.
In this case, I don't think it was someone just clowning around. He was so used to asking for his go-to drink, it just came out like that, but I do wonder what he was hoping to achieve by remaining in the queue after realising both coffee machines were out of order. The lack of aroma and espresso machine sounds, along with nobody waiting for drinks at the hand-off counter were subtle clues also.
Could it be one of those "this doesn't apply to me" people that feel rules are for everyone else but themselves?!
The guy left empty handed.
