Don't lift your drink by the lid...
Complaints about CustomersThe inevitable result was the cup falling down at a slight angle and the contents spilling everywhere and splashing off surfaces. No apology. No sincerity. The customer found the entire situation hilarious as we rushed to contain and clear up the spill, remake his drink and two other drinks that were spoilt nearby, all whilst a busy queue of pending drinks awaited a group of customers that were time sensitive.

I'm not entirely convinced that even to this day every last drop has been cleaned up and accounted for. Most certainly it had to be the customer that requested additional pumps of caramel syrup.

Not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things. Would have been easier if it was a less busy time and less annoying if the customer hadn't done so to be centre of attention.
Lesson of the day here is... don't lift disposable cups by their disposable lid, it really isn't going to hold! The bigger the cup capacity and the more liquid contained within, the more weight and more likely for the cup to not withstand gravity.
