A good half an hour after our unit is closed with shutter half-way down, a customer approaches to ask for assistance continuously. After zero understanding that it isn't practical or safe to have a coffee shop with a large physical barrier preventing entry, purchase and collection, which probably indicates that we are closed to most people... 10 minutes elapsed (with a short recess of a few minutes within that time), and she is still trying to grab my attention.

Okay, tasks done and I'm leaving the unit shortly, I better see what she wants not to give a bad experience of the brand. I exit and close the shutter fully. She asked if we sell "this drink" and shows a photo from social media (a vanilla matcha latte). I confirmed that we do. She then proceeds to try to order said drink - two of them.

I'm not wearing the green apron, the sign is off and I have just fully closed the metal shutters from a half way position (which she had seen for at least 10 minutes straight). I tell her "Sorry that will have to wait for another day, we closed 45 minutes ago" before walking off.

I'm not sure if the person saw this as rude or appreciated me confirming the drink after the shop has been shut for so long. I'm pretty sure she knew we sold the drink as it had a Starbucks label on it. Just goes to show that persistence doesn't always pay off. If we are about to close, you might get lucky... if we are closed, we cannot help you.
